THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO AND RELIC ELIGIBLE.So I bought a Sten MK2 parts kit and a receiver kit at a gun show last year. This gun exemplifies its World War II heritage by its condition and shows just how dependable they are.THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. All the hallmarks of a good entry level machine gun for the shooting enthusiast. Simple, dependable, taking common ammunition with parts and magazines readily available. The Sten is a regular at machine guns shooting events. ![]() Parts kit is in very good condition overall. Bore is extremely fine, shiny and bright. The barrel and shoulder loop have remnants of black enamel paint flaking away to reveal brown patina. CONDITION: Overall appearance quite fine although finish coverage just about nil revealing dull gray exposed metal with some light brown patina right where the tube would be grasped. PROVENANCE: Copy of original Form 3 with transfer from Dan Shea, Long Mountain Outfitters, and inventory sheet from Ellis Prop liquidation listing this gun by serial number.
